<title>A Gathering of Wings: Conservation Bird by Bird 2012 Natural Areas Calendar</title>
<description>Produced by The Cleveland Museum of Natural History, the 2012 Natural Areas Calendar showcases illustrations of bird species found in over 5,000 acres protected by the Museum's Natural Areas Program. Proceeds from sales of the calendar will be used for stewardship of Museum forest preserves. New deer enclosures will be erected in 2012 to protect understory shrubs in several forest preserves for the benefit of low-nesting birds, such as ovenbirds, hooded warblers, wood thrushes, hermit thrushes and winter wrens. The calendar costs only $12 (shipping/tax included).

<title>Lake Erie Birding Trail</title>
<description>

The Ohio Division of Wildlife officially opened the Lake Erie Birding Trail at East Harbor State Park at the Midwest Birding Symposium this September.
The LEBT covers the Ohio Lake Erie shoreline, from Conneaut to west of Toledo, with information on 84 birding hotspots stretching across 312 miles of Ohio shoreline. The website has details on access, parking, amenities, trails, and directions as well as information on rarities and finding secretive species.

<title>Midwest Birding Symposium Conservation</title>

OOS Matches $10,000 for Conservation Funds Raised! During this year's Midwest Birding Symposium and through generous attendee participation, $12,388 was raised in fundraising efforts!
