Digiscoping Scope and System Resolution Tests
Resolution tests were made and details posted on the Yahoo digiscoping site:

Procedure used was the earlier Ohio Birding Forum post “How Sharp is Your
Scope”, posted 7-07 under Birding Equipment.
Care needs to be taken that digiscoping magnification power (total of scope, eyepiece,
and camera zoom) does not exceed the native resolving power of the scope, causing
persistent un-sharpness. All scopes are limited by their aperture size, regardless of
pedigree. This may be a common problem. Gene Smith
