In my visits to various bookstores around Columbus I've noticed what seems to be a growing trend among fiction authors to make some of their characters birders.
I'm curious if anyone has checked out these new works of fiction focusing on birders and what you think of their depiction of birders and birds.
A couple of recent examples of these new fiction books include:
-The Bird Catcher by Laura Jacobs (http://us.macmillan.com/thebirdcatcher)
-Border Songs by Jim Lynch (http://www.thehighesttide.com/)
