Special Thanks

This web site, and the Ohio Ornithological Society, would not have been possible without the help of some very special people. Thank You!

WELCOME TO WWW.OHIOBIRDS.ORG
The Ohio Ornithological Society

Established in 2004, the Ohio Ornithological Society invites you to learn more about who we are and what we do.

Lake Erie Raptor Seminar

We're partnering with Black Swamp Bird Observatory to present a two-day seminar on raptors, to be held at the peak of fall hawk migration, the weekend of September 27 and 28. In addition to some truly outstanding speakers, we'll feature field trips to some great raptor migration hotspots.

All the details are here.

Ohio Birding Forum

Unlike the email list, which is limited to topics concerning Ohio birds and birding, the new forum lets you discuss (almost) any topic that concerns birds. Click here to enter the Forum.

Ohio Birding Blog

As many of you will have noticed, Jim McCormac's blog is no longer available on this web site. This was due to an uannounced changed in our web host's configuration. The good news is that Jim has continued his blog at a new venue. You can find it at http://jimmccormac.blogspot.com/ .
