OOS 7th Annual Conference

We are sending you this email to let you know about an exciting opportunity to get out birding in a great part of our state, connect with other birders in Ohio, and atlas at the same time! The Ohio Ornithological Society (OOS) is holding their 7th annual conference in Shawnee State Park on June 3-5th and there are still openings available to attend!

Events will include talks from Paul Rodewald (OBBA II Director) and Ted Floyd (editor of ABA’s Birding magazine), atlasing field trips, birding and atlasing tips, food, fun and more! All this, while getting outside and birding in the beautiful southern forested region of Ohio with other great Ohioan birders!

Ted will present a keynote talk on Saturday evening, “Birding at Night: The Final Frontier”, and a Saturday afternoon workshop, “Bare-naked Birding: Clothing Optional, Binoculars Prohibited”, where he’ll focus on observing breeding bird behavior without binoculars (imagine that!).

For more information about this great event, and details on how to register, click here! We will all be there, and we hope to see many of you there as well!
